CloudCard Student ID Guide

This is a guide for students that demonstrates how to create a digital student ID. We recommend using your cell phone to go through this process. Before you begin, make sure your phone is charged, find a well-lit area, and have a clear photo of a government-issued ID (license, state ID, or passport) on your phone, ready to upload.

  1. Navigate to https://idphoto.spcollege.edu/ and input your SPC student email address (ending in @live.spcollege.edu). Then, select Next.

  2. Use multifactor authentication to complete the sign-in process. In the screenshot below, the student opts to have a verification code texted to the phone number on file. However, there are several ways to use MFA to sign-in. Linked here: How to Setup Multi-Factor Authentication for your SPC account.

  3. The Take Your ID Photo screen will appear next. You can allow your device to access your camera and take a photo by selecting Allow in the pop-up (1), or slide the toggle from Camera to Camera Roll to select an existing photo from your camera roll (2). However, we recommend taking your photo, rather than uploading an existing photo.

  4.  In the Take Your ID Photo screen, you will see the photo requirements. Please review the photo requirements carefully and position yourself appropriately before taking your photo.
    1. Should be cropped slightly above head to middle of chest.
    2. Should be taken against a plain, light background.
    3. Must be a high quality color photo.
    4. Must not include sunglasses, hat or other accessories.
    5. Must be positioned directly facing the camera.
    6. Eyes should be open and looking at the camera

  5. Select the camera button (1) to take your photo, and the retry button (2) to retake your photo.

  6. Next, the program will process your photo. If your photo is approved, the Almost Done screen will appear with the text: "Your photo looks great. We'll send you an email if we need anything else." Click Next to go to the driver's license upload screen.

  7. In the driver's license upload screen, you need to upload a photo of a government-issued ID card. It can be a driver's license, a passport, or a state ID. You are not able to take a photo of the ID in this screen, so please have it ready to avoid the system timing out.

  8. In the submit screen, you have one last chance to change your photo or driver's license. Once you are satisfied with the quality of both images, select Submit and Sign Out.

  9. If your student ID is approved, you will receive a confirmation email (to your @live.spcollege.edu email) stating that it has been approved.

If your student ID photo is denied, you will receive an email stating the reason(s) for the denial, and a hyperlink to click to restart the student ID process and fix the issue.

  10. After you submit and receive the approval email, please wait 24 hours. Then, check inside your Titan Hub for your student ID.

    1. Go to www.spcollege.edu and click Titans Login to login to the Titan Hub.
    2. In the top right corner, click on your photo, then select ID card from the dropdown menu.
    3. This will bring up your digital ID card. It includes:
      1. Photo
      2. Name/expiration date
      3. ID number
      4. Scannable barcode
