Taking a Quiz

Here is how to begin a quiz in MyCourses and submit your answers. Remember to always check for a time limit, and a start and end date for your quiz so you know when to take it.

Step-by-Step:

1. Click on Course Content
   
   
2. Locate the quiz in the correct module that you would like to take 
   
   
3. Click on the title of the quiz
    
   
   
4. You will be taken to a Quiz summary page. Read all provided directions provided 
   
   
   
5. Once you have read and understood the directions, scroll down to click click the Start Quiz! button to begin the quiz. The quiz may take several seconds to load. If the quiz is timed, the timer will not begin until the quiz has completely loaded. Once the page loads, it will be broken up into several sections.
   
   
   
   1. Time Limit - total time allotted for the quiz
      
      
   2. Time Left - total time you have left to complete the quiz (in minutes)
      
      
   3. Attempt - the current attempt number
      
      
   4. Questions - this area highlights as you answer and the answer is saved. If the quiz is broken up into multiple pages, it will be demonstrated here
      
      
   5. Save - your answers are auto-saved
      
      
   6. Submit Quiz - once you have completed the quiz, click Submit Quiz
      
      
6. Answer each of the questions presented, Click Submit Quiz
   
   
7. The Quiz Submission page will appear. This page will vary based on the settings your instructor has chosen. You may not see any questions or answer after you submit. The instructor would need to set up access to see your responses after you submit for that quiz. 
   
   
   
8. Click Done to return to the Quiz List
