Sharing Your Badges on LinkedIn

SPC students can earn badges and certificates within MyCourses through various courses and programs. You can share the badges and certificates you earn on your social media sites such as LinkedIn. Here are instructions for locating your earned badges in MyCourses and sharing them on LinkedIn.

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Navigate to the MyCourses landing page. You can get to the landing page by clicking the blue MyCourses logo at the top left of any page in MyCourses.
     
  2. Click My Awards on the navbar:

  3. You will see any certificates you have earned listed at the top of this page and any badges you have earned listed below the certificates.

  4. Click Share on the bottom of the badge you wish to share:

  5. Click Share to LinkedIn:

  6. Select if you would like your LinkedIn to include a linked image of the badge or certificate and then click Share to Linkedin:

  7. A new window in your browser will open and prompt you to sign into your LinkedIn account.
     
  8. Once you are logged into linked in a pop-up window will appear with your badge/certificate information. Click Save:

  9. The badge will display under Licences & Certificates on your profile.
     
  10. Click Show Credential to view your shared badge in a new tab:
    Credential for Written Communication course.
