Technology to Help Students

Snapchat, text, and Instagram won't be used in class. Are you ready for spreadsheets, statistical software, and formatting with APA or MLA? These resources can help prepare you with critical software skills.

Step-by-Step:

These are the top resources we have identified to help you improve your technology skills.

  • GCFLearnFree.org
GCFLearnFree.org provides students with access to over one hundred computer technology tutorials that you can access 24 hours a day. Tutorials are available for subject areas that include Technology Basics, Microsoft Office, and Living in the Online World.

  • 8 essential mobile apps for college students, PC World
Load up your mobile device with handy apps for taking notes, sharing files, recording lectures, managing your tasks, and (of course) reading books, and your road to graduation will be a little less bumpy.
