What are Academic Pathways and how do I use them?

An Academic Pathway is a degree-specific list of courses in the order that you should take them. Academic Pathways serve as the default academic plan for you to use when planning for your college degree. Although you will have some choice in terms of options, they have been designed to build the knowledge and skills that will result in higher academic achievement and include ‘stackable’ certificates.


Academic Pathways:

Visit http://web.spcollege.edu/courses/programs/ to access the SPC Programs and Degree List, then click on the program or degree you are pursuing. The link to the Academic Pathway for that degree or program will be available on the page (see example below). 

You can use the Academic Pathway for your degree or program to assist you in completing your Learning Plan. The Planner, sometimes referred to as your MyLearningPlan (MLP for short) is a tool you can use to plan out which courses you’ll take each term to reach your goal of graduating from your chosen program.
