Assistive Technology for Online Learning

SPC has a diverse community of learners, all with their own learning needs. This guide is a list of publically-available programs and applications for online learners that was put together by the Office of Accessible Education at Stanford University. This is not an official list of SPC-supported technology by any means, and should only be used as a reference to help you in your online educational journey.

Assistive Technology (AT) means any item, piece of equipment, software program, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve an individual’s functioning and independence, thereby promoting their well-being.
