IMPORTANT UPDATE: IDENTITY VERIFICATION FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT
To better protect your personal information and SPC account, the Technical Support Center has updated its identity verification process.
When contacting the Technical Support Center for assistance with certain account-related requests, you may be asked to verify your identity before an agent can access or make changes to your account.
How Identity Verification Works
Depending on the type of assistance you need, a Technical Support Center agent may send a one-time Security Code to the personal email address listed on your SPC student record.
You will be asked to provide this Security Code to the Technical Support Center agent assisting you.
IMPORTANT: The Security Code can only be sent to the personal email address currently listed on your official student record. Technical Support Center agents cannot send the code to an alternate email address provided during the support interaction.
KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION UP TO DATE
To avoid delays when requesting assistance, please make sure the personal email address and other contact information listed on your SPC student record are current.
If your information has changed, update your personal information.
WHY IS SPC MAKING THIS CHANGE?
This additional verification step helps the Technical Support Center protect student accounts and personal information by ensuring that certain requests are being made by the authorized account holder.
Never share a Security Code with anyone other than the SPC representative currently assisting you with your support request.
SUPPORT CENTER PHONE SYSTEM UPGRADES
On Thursday, April 16th, 2026: The Technical Support Center will be upgrading the phone system between 11:00am to 6:00pm. Students may not be able to reach the support center by phone during this time. For assistance, please Chat with us by using the chat bubble found in the bottom right-hand corner of each student support page, or you can reach us by email at OnlineHelp@spcollege.edu.
TRAVELING ABROAD DURING FALL CLASSES?
If you intend to be traveling abroad for or during your Fall classes, you will need to submit a request for access to your SPC account while in another country. Due to security concerns, SPC will need to allow your access prior to traveling otherwise you will be unable to reach the services needed to perform your tasks. Please visit the International Travel Request document here for instructions in submitting your request for access.
