MyCourses has its own email system separate from SPC. In this email system, the emails you send and receive are only available inside of MyCourses. Unless you set up your MyCourses email to forward to your SPC or personal email address, you will not receive notification of emails unless you visit MyCourses. Here is how to access your course email.
Step-by-Step: From the Communicate Tab
- Enter your course from the MyCourses homepage
- Click on the Communicate menu
- Click Email from the dropdown menu

From any page in MyCourses, click the email icon on the top right side of the page:
