The Microsoft Authenticator app helps you sign in to your accounts when you're using two-step verification. Two-step verification helps prove you are the account user and will allow you to use your accounts more securely because passwords can be forgotten, stolen, or compromised.
The Microsoft Authenticator app is available for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. To get the best experience, let the app get notifications when asked if you'd like to allow notifications on your phone. Click 'Allow' when asked.
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app. On the Accounts screen, select Add Account (the plus '+' sign), and then select Work or School Account.
- Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code below.
Note: If the camera isn't working properly, you can enter the QR code and URL manually.
Enter the following:
Code: 857 634 999
URL: https://co1pfpad16.phonefactor.net/pad/648069390
Once properly setup, you will receive a number matching code to your authenticator app when attempting to sign into your SPC account. You will enter the number provided to you in order to enter your account.
For more information please see the PDF in the Attachments section below for extra steps you could try if you run into any issues when setting up your Authenticator app.
