Academic Advisors at St. Petersburg College are dedicated to helping students successfully navigate their educational journey from enrollment to graduation. They provide guidance on academic planning, course selection, and degree pathways to ensure students stay on track toward their goals. Whether you are exploring majors, planning future semesters, or preparing to transfer to another institution, Academic Advisors are a key resource for making informed decisions about your education.

St. Petersburg College career and academic advisors can help you with career discovery and research, degree program exploration, registration, course planning, scheduling, college transfer information,  registration holds, and many other questions you might have.

Students may also contact Academic Advising for assistance with: 

  • registering for classes

  • adding or dropping courses

  • withdrawing or requesting withdrawal from a class

  • and addressing questions related to program or degree requirements.

There are Multiple Ways to Meet with an Advisor

  1. You can meet with your assigned advisor for a 30-minute appointment in person, virtually through Zoom, or by phone
  2. You can visit a campus for walk-in advising with the first available advisor
  3. You can connect with the first available advisor in our Virtual Advising Center using your Student ID
