Submitting a video for an assignment in Canvas using Panopto is an essential way to demonstrate understanding, creativity, and communication skills in a dynamic format. Video submissions allow students to present ideas visually and audibly, offering more depth than traditional text-based responses. This method is particularly useful for assignments requiring presentations, demonstrations, or personal reflections.
By using Panopto, students can record, edit, and upload high-quality videos directly to Canvas, making the process seamless. The integration ensures assignments are organized and accessible within the course, while Panopto's features, like screen recording and closed captions, enhance the video's accessibility and professionalism.
Submitting video assignments not only meets course requirements but also helps students develop skills in digital communication— a key competency in many academic and professional settings.

Example: Modules > Discussion > Reply - In the RCE (Rich Content Editor) textbox, select the Panopto Icon.
